DomainsBot Integrates Twitter Handles, Facebook Identity Check to Domain Name Suggestion Tool

DomainsBot, the provider of domain name suggestion tool used by various companies such as GoDaddy, Tucows, 1and1, and eNom, has just announced an update to its platform offering social networking identity search integration. The company update also includes B2B services for domain registrars, registries and new TLD applicants. In its announcement today, the company says:

By offering an integrated domain and social identity search, the new service makes it easier for users to find and obtain unique, brandable identities. In addition to adding social identity search and revamping its website for speed and ease of use, DomainsBot also offers a downloadable mobile application, for identity searches on the go. “Five years ago we only needed to worry about checking domain availability before naming a new business or product. Today’s challenge is to take care of domains and social media identities, such as Facebook and Twitter. Our goal is to simplify an important and time consuming process creatively,” said Emiliano Pasqualetti, DomainsBot, CEO.

This website is going to win a prize! Anthony Mitchell  –  Oct 26, 2011 7:30 AM

It won’t be a good one.

Poor usability and blocked accessibility points to inadequate design support, a bubble mentality and inadequate QA.

They should’ve saved that fancy color stuff for art class and focused instead on building a website that was accessible to more people, including the 10% of American men with colorblindness.

Curious? See these W3 guidelines:
