FCC Reportedly to Unveil Plans for Net Neutrality Rules on Monday

New Federal Communications Commission chairman Julius Genachowski will reportedly unveil plans for Net neutrality rules on Monday. Genachowski is expected to announce that he will ask the commission to craft rules intended to preserve the openness of the Internet.

The news comes a day after Genachowski and the four commissioners appeared at a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee hearing, during which full committee chairman Henry Waxman voiced support for Net neutrality legislation.
