dotMobi Extends Deadline for Premium Name RFPs

Due to strong interest from multiple leading brands, dotMobi is extending the deadline for the first round of its Request for Proposals (RFP) process.

To accommodate requests for extensions, the deadline for RFP submissions has been moved from December 18, 2006 to February 16, 2007. This first round of RFPs includes four highly sought after premium .mobi domain names: "news.mobi", "ringtones.mobi", "sports.mobi" and "weather.mobi."

The deadline extension is the only change made to the RFP submission process. dotMobi will review all submitted proposals in accordance with the evaluation criteria in the dotMobi RFP application form and expects to announce winning proposals in March 2007. Each RFP submission will be evaluated on the applicant's business and technical capability, with an emphasis on the proposed content for the Web site relating to the domain name.

The application form is available at:
http://pc.mtld.mobi/switched/premiumsales.html.

Applications are due by February 16, 2007.
