As you might have noticed already, the CircleID website has been newly relaunched and restructured from ground up. Since CircleID's initial launch, back in August 2002, our goal has essentially been to continually improve the site as an online professional utility for the Internet infrastructure — while vigilantly taking note of your feedback and suggestions. We are pleased to announce the following updates and additions to the site:
Expanded Topics and Navigational Structure
As part of CircleID's mission to provide a comprehensive online community hub for the Internet's infrastructure and policies, two additional main topics have been introduced, in addition to the existing Domain Name System (DNS) coverage, resulting in the following main topic groups:
Additionally, now you can navigate the archived postings within CircleID in three different ways (for an example, see the left side column on the main page). These options are:
Your Toolbar
You should be able to see your activated toolbar on top of the website (if you are logged in), giving you quick access to your newly updated control panel (Panel), post submission tool (Submit), member directory (Directory), etc. Additionally we have added the site explorer (Explore) section to help you get the latest statistics on popular postings through out CircleID.
Your Page
Your newly polished dedicated page (click 'You' on the toolbar on top of the website — if you are logged in) provides you with a free, clean, and uncluttered space to showcase your professional profile, website, blog and postings on CircleID. This page is fully editable via your control panel.
You never know who will be visiting your page — CircleID is used on a daily basis for networking and making new connections by your colleagues and industry professionals. And of course, participants on CircleID do get noticed. Please take a few minutes to review your page and make any additional changes/updates necessary. If you have any questions or trouble with your account, please don't hesitate contact us for help.
Additionally, as a member, you now have a dedicated RSS feed for all of your posting on CircleID — which can also be controlled or turned off via your control panel.

I like this. New features are very good and I appreciate that they have been integrated smoothly, that is without disrupting the web site's traditional look and feel.
As a criticism, I wander why Email isn't one of the new topics. Actually, anti-spam is one of the tags available for topic definition and many posts address that subject.

At the core technical level, a lot of discussions that relate to 'Email' — we have found — tend to fall under the DNS umbrella. But you do raise a good point and we'll look into having 'Email' as potentially a topic or perhaps a tag. Thanks for the suggestion.
Some of the inbound links broke. Mainly pages about users. Any plans to stick redirects on these? Google will love you more if you do.

Definitely, we are ensuring all old URLs redirect to new locations (the main ones at least). Please send me a message if you spot any important ones we have missed.
User pages are fixed now and the old URLs should seamlessly point to their new location.
