nugg.ad Selects NeuStar's UltraDNS Services

UltraDNS

NeuStar, Inc. today announced that nugg.ad, a German company based in Berlin that provides an application service provider (ASP) solution for predictive behavioral targeting, has chosen NeuStar's UltraDNS Managed Services to bolster the scalability and reliability of nugg.ad's DNS infrastructure.

Specifically, nugg.ad has migrated its external DNS to NeuStar's UltraDNS Managed DNS Service, which provides businesses with a secure, highly reliable global DNS infrastructure that delivers fast, fail-safe Internet address resolution. With this in place, nugg.ad has also taken advantage of SiteBacker, the UltraDNS monitoring and failover service, which ensures continuity of web-based services in the event of server failure. Neither service requires any hardware deployment and both provide rapidly growing companies such as nugg.ad with highly scalable, cost-effective solutions to their infrastructure needs.

"Currently, our platform is serving more than 20 billion page impressions monthly across Europe," said Stephan Noller, managing director at nugg.ad. "With our ever-increasing traffic figures and our presence at several major Internet sites throughout Europe, it is imperative that our infrastructure be robust and highly scalable, and that we are able to minimize downtime. UltraDNS provides one of the best global DNS infrastructures we've ever seen, and gives us the flexibility and reliability we need to grow our business."

"We are pleased to add nugg.ad to our growing European customer base," said Alex Berry, senior vice president and general manager of NeuStar's Internet Infrastructure Services Group. "nugg.ad has developed a new, exciting approach to predictive behavioral targeting for the advertising industry, but at the end of the day it will only be as effective as the technical infrastructure on which it is based. NeuStar is pleased to be a component of their success."
