.CO is proud to announce the appointment of its new Vice President of Product and Technology, Eric Brown. Eric joins the .CO team from its partner, Neustar, where he was the Director of Product Management for the Registry business for over 10 years. In that role, Eric was responsible for leading teams of world-class technical experts in various aspects of product development, service delivery and business operations — including launching and administering the global registries for the .biz, .us and .tel top-level domains. Eric also helped to design the architecture and guide the implementation of the .CO registry and DNS system to a flawless launch and gradual opening plan.

Prior to joining Neustar, Eric served for two years as the Director of Operations for BulkRegister.com, a domain registrar that was acquired by eNom. With a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Virginia, Eric also spent eight years at the U.S. Department of State, where he worked for the White House on the advanced teams and logistics supporting the global travels of the President and Vice-President of the United States of America.

In his role as Vice President of Product and Technology, Eric will mobilize technical and business resources to drive product innovation, scale .CO's infrastructure, and fuel the company's growth. This includes, among other things, responsibility for managing .CO's technology and staffing, leading registry/registrar services, managing global domain security architecture, and building the systems and processes to garner value out of registry data.
