NeuStar, Inc. today announced that NASDAQ Dubai, the international stock exchange between Western Europe and East Asia, has selected NeuStar's UltraDNS Managed Services to enhance the security and performance of NASDAQ Dubai's platform.

Specifically, NASDAQ Dubai will leverage NeuStar's UltraDNS suite of traffic management services, including SiteBacker, an advanced monitoring and failover service for critical enterprise systems and applications, and Traffic Controller, a global server load balancing service. NASDAQ Dubai also will utilize Traffic Controller to geographically distribute its web traffic between its financial operations in London, New York, and Dubai.

Formerly called the DIFX, NASDAQ Dubai offers tradable instruments including equities, equity derivatives, and structured products. It welcomes regional as well as global issuers that seek regional and international investment, and has a unique mix of international and regional brokers. The majority shareholder of NASDAQ Dubai is Borse Dubai, which holds a two-thirds stake; NASDAQ OMX Group owns one-third of the shares.
