About

Roger Collins has guided Afternic.com (Orlando, Florida) to its leadership position of #1 domain name broker in the USA and played a key role in devising new strategies.  Prior to purchasing the Afternic brand with brother Michael in December 2002 from Register.com, Collins created NameBuySell.com, later re-branded as Afternic.com.  Collins brings a wealth of experience in computer and network-related ventures to his position.  He has been in the computer industry since 1987 in positions ranging from programmer to software engineer and manager, and has developed software for major companies including NCR and IBM, as well as NASA.  Collins holds a bachelor’s of science and a master’s of science degree in computer engineering from the University of Florida, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University.
