The Q1 2021 New gTLD Quarterly Report from our MarkMonitor team examines .kpmg usage, new gTLD Alexa.com rankings, recent launch analyses, and potential policy effects on .brand ‘next round’ applicants.

We last visited the .kpmg TLD in our Q3 2019 New gTLD Quarterly Report. Roughly 18 months later, home.kpmg continues to be one of the most highly trafficked websites (ranking at number 8,032 on the Alexa.com global top sites list2) in the world.

Home.kpmg resolves to a geolocation page that allows the visitor to either continue to the KPMG Global page or to “your local firm site.” Since our last review of the .kpmg namespace, KPMG International Cooperative has registered four more .kpmg domains for a total of 11 registrations.

Our MarkMonitor team of experts also analyzes the ICANN Final Report on the new gTLD Subsequent Procedures Policy Development Process to see what effects this could have on .brand TLD applicants in the next application round. With our usual roundup of .brand activity and the upcoming schedule of industry meetings for 2021, this quarterly report is required reading to stay abreast of new gTLD industry developments.
