Last Lap of .WEBSITE, .PRESS and .HOST Sunrise

The Sunrise of Radix’s first three TLDs .website, .press and .host is receiving great acceptance. Brands registered with the TMCH have the last 10 days left to take advantage of this Sunrise opportunity.

Only 10 days are left before Radix’s first three TLDs, .website, .host and .press exit Sunrise on 22nd August ‘14. The three extensions were launched on 26th June ‘14 with more than 75 Accredited Registrars on board including Sunrise focused Registrars like MarkMonitor, 101Domain, Com Laude, and others. Together with GoDaddy, 1&1 OpenSRS, etc. they represent 71% of the registered domain names across the world. The universal acceptance of these three TLDs has been largely owing to their applicability.

“Our first three extensions, especially .website and .press are getting widespread adoption across industries due to their strategic importance to branding. This just goes to show that .press and .website are industry-neutral TLDs and any brand who is serious about the web presence should secure its presence in them,” said Sandeep Ramchandani, Business Head at Radix.

.WEBSITE holds a unique position as the first truly generic TLD, making it a very popular choice amongst all brands. From Barclays in the banking industry to Chanel and Gucci in the retail industry and Google and Chrome in technology, .website is finding itself secured across industries due to its uniform applicability.

.PRESS stands as the ultimate extension for credible information by brands, helping them express their digital authority online. A .PRESS domain name will act as the mouthpiece of brands for its consumers. Marketwatch.press and Yahoo.press are just some of the names registered for .press. Of course Newscorporation.press and Wallstreetjournal.press were also registered as a mark of recognition of its significance to the media & information industry.

Radix has also launched a special promotion for Sunrise. Brands can now secure a significant portion of their registration cost in securing .PRESS and .WEBSITE extensions during Sunrise. As part of this promo, Radix is offering the generic .website and the digital authority .press in a bundle. This special package was created to ensure that brands may doubly benefit by securing their voice (through .PRESS) and identity (through .WEBSITE) on their web presence.

.HOST is a niche TLD for the hosting community. It is already on its way to becoming the default TLD for the hosting community with brands like Alexa, Arubacloud and HostPoint securing it in Sunrise.

If you are a trademark holder with TMCH and want to avail these benefits, then you can contact any of our Sunrise registrars HERE.
