A WIPO arbitrator awarded the Swiss Confederation control of the Internet domain names schweiz.ch, suisse.ch and svizzera.ch—"Switzerland" in the Alpine country's majority German, and minority French and Italian respectively.

Most of this article is good news as long as individuals retain the ability to turn the system off to avoid being tracked.

I've been disappointed recently with both AOL's and Verizon's spam filters b/c they don't seem to allow their users enough control over them.

But the comment about encrypted email at the end of the article threw me. For one thing, encrypting email by default has been common place for a long time now for those that want it. And what good will sending an empty email do anyone? I'm baffled.
