.google Before Christmas

I'm a real fan of the Google Masterplan since its publication in 2005. After the introduction of its own global DNS I thought it might be a good idea to have a second look on the G-Masterplan.

What I found is astonishing and shows the steps to .google. On the G-Masterplan you will find:

1. "Hire Vint Cerf” - This has been accomplished

2. "Redesign TCP/IP” - May be not done on the short run, but how about having DNS first

3. "Introduce .google TLD” - Not yet done, I've checked it on 8.8.8.8, but may be before Christmas, that's my fearless guess

If you want to see some screenshots from the gigantic whiteboard with the masterplan please visit my blog entry about it at .berlin blog. I'm sorry, but the posting is in German language, but the pictures say more than any words.

They might not be redesigning TCP/IP, but they are redesigning HTTP.
