eHarmony Chooses NeuStar's Ultra Services Network Infrastructure

NeuStar, Inc., a leading provider of essential communications services to the global communications and Internet industry, announced today that eHarmony, the Internet's #1 trusted relationship service, has selected NeuStar's Ultra Domain Name Systems (DNS) service to deliver enhanced web site performance.

NeuStar is a global industry leader in providing managed DNS and other essential communications services. Through its thousands of enterprise, service provider, and top-level domain infrastructure customers (such as .org, .info, .us, .biz, .in, and .mobi), NeuStar plays a key role in directing and managing Internet traffic, enabling intelligent and secure control and distribution of that traffic, and ensuring security, scalability, and reliability of websites and e-mail.

"The eHarmony network infrastructure will be significantly enhanced by NeuStar's Ultra DNS service, and it will also help us achieve superior levels of customer satisfaction," said Mark Douglas, eHarmony's vice president of technology.

Traditional approaches to DNS can result in delays, interruptions and outright failures, causing frustration for customers and lost business for enterprises. By outsourcing to NeuStar, eHarmony realizes a tangible return on an investment that delivers superior manageability and scale without costly hardware or maintenance requirements.

"Increasingly, enterprises and e-businesses recognize the multifaceted value of deploying NeuStar solutions to enhance end-user experience, to increase customer retention, and to realize superior returns on related infrastructure investments," said Jeff Ganek, Chairman and CEO of NeuStar. "We are very pleased that eHarmony recognizes the critical nature of its DNS infrastructure and has placed its confidence in the NeuStar Ultra Services approach."
