Afilias Enhances Managed DNS with New Security, Management and Reporting Features

Today Afilias, a leading provider of Internet infrastructure services, announced key feature updates to its Managed DNS Services that will enhance user account security, portfolio management, and traffic reporting.

  • SMS Alerts, a new account security feature used to authenticate password reset and defend against account hijacking.
  • New portfolio management tools that allow for simplified bulk domain management including import and export functionality. Additional management tools include domain folders and user groups to organize and manage large portfolios of domains and user permissions.
  • Enhanced reporting suite that allows for near real-time data export and graphing based on a variety of parameters including expanded regional and country analysis.
