If the government decides it is in the public's benefit to take UnitedStatesOfAmerica.com, as the owner I would expect that condemnation of my property to be accompanied by just compensation as is mandated under the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Beyond that, there's not a lot that could be said about it. Frankly, I'm suprised some of the States haven't already taken such actions against their respective state-named domains.
Well said, Wendy. Their modifications of UDRP would amount to expropriation without compensation.
