NBA & NFL Teams Drive .store Sunrise Score to 647

.store closed its sunrise phase on the 5th of June, and opened with its Early Access Phase on 7th of June

Radix had earlier announced that .store made it among the top 10 sunrise performers across new domain launches. The last 5 days of sunrise saw as many as 125+ orders, moving .store even further up the list.

Prominent NFL and NBA teams including, the New York Giants, the Denver Broncos, the Golden State Warriors, LA Lakers, along with home-improvement retailer Home Depot, and global fashion giants such as Hanes, JCrew, Anthropologie, were some of the last sunrise applicants.

At the end of the sunrise phase, CSC Corporate Domains Inc. and MarkMonitor, Inc are the leading registrars with 20%+ market share each. They are followed by a well distributed spread across Registrars worldwide, including Ascio Technologies Inc., eNom, Inc. and Key-Systems LLC.

.store has been actively working on their Founders Program with 20+ pioneers already enrolled — from big brands across industry verticals to retail startups; these founders are expected to start using their .store domain names very soon. One of the first industry stalwarts to go live with their .store name is Formula 1 with a 2 character domain www.f1.store!

.store launched into the Early Access Phase on 7th June, 2016 and this phase will go on until 14th June, 2016, immediately after which it opens up for General availability on 14th June, at 16:00 UTC.
