dotMobi and Verio introduce goMobi mobile website solution in Europe

Mobile Web technology provider dotMobi and Verio Europe, global experts in online solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, announced the immediate availability of the goMobi mobile Web publishing solution through Verio in the European market. This follows Verio's successful launch of goMobi earlier this year in the U.S.

A wholly owned subsidiary of NTT Communications, the Regensburg, Germany-based Verio Europe selected goMobi to meet the needs of their customers with an easy, cost-effective way to create sophisticated mobile websites in less than five minutes.

"Interest in the mobile Internet and mobile search continues to grow significantly. Consumers are more frequently turning to mobile for finding local services and businesses. dotMobi has seen mobile site activations more than double over the past year, along with increasing momentum in Europe as demand begins to meet that of the U.S.," said Eileen O'Sullivan, COO at dotMobi.

O'Sullivan added, "We are delighted to expand our partnership with Verio to meet the mobile website needs of the European SME market and its customers."

goMobi sites are optimized for mobile with fast loading times and offer a range of mobile-friendly features to help visitors find, engage with and purchase from businesses. goMobi sites work on all phones, including smartphones and tablets.

Holger Gerlach, Senior Director of Product Management, Value-Added Tools at Verio Europe, said, "Verio is confident that goMobi offers the best mobile Web solution on the market. That's why we're excited to bring goMobi to our European customers."

Verio has more than 250,000 small business customers worldwide; its European arm serves customers throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
