.PW Landrush Goes Live

The Registry for .PW – the Professional Web, today announced the opening of the Landrush Period, a limited time opportunity to acquire short, valuable and industry defining keyword domain names. The Landrush phase is active for just 29 days from 18th February, 2013 to 18th March, 2013.

The .PW Landrush is a unique opportunity for domain investors, business owners and early adopters to acquire short, valuable and premium names at non-premium prices. Brand owners can also register industry vertical and keyword specific domain names relevant to their business without any documentation.

Released domains include 2-3 character names, dictionary words, popular person and place names, and other memorable names that are available as exorbitantly priced options in the secondary market. Single character domains in Chinese, Japanese and Korean scripts will also be released for the first time ever. Please find the list of Premium names available at Landrush rates here.

"This is the best opportunity to buy Premium and Category Killer domain names at Landrush rates. As a virgin namespace the best names are still available and we've released more than 8000 names from the reserved list to ensure customers can acquire the highest level of inventory" said Sandeep Ramchandani, Business Head, .PW Registry. "Past TLD launches will reveal that the best names are taken in Landrush and customers should act now."

.PW is on track for a global and mainstream registrar launch with more than 95 registrars including industry giants eNom, InterNetX, Key-Systems, Name.com, ResellerClub and Domain Monster aggressively promoting the .PW Landrush.
