Hostway Launches Registry Services Corporation, Registry Back-End Service for New TLDs

Hostway, parent company of RegistryPro, (operators of the .PRO the top-level domain for professionals), announced today the launch of Registry Services Corporation, the retail version of its highly secure registry back-end service.

Registry Services Corporation (RSC) now offers TLD operators the same state-of-the-art systems and infrastructure the company has used to manage the .PRO TLD since 2004. In addition, RSC provides 24/7 live technical support, EPP-compliant servers, DNSSEC, IDN capability and IPv6.

The product was unveiled at the 41st meeting of ICANN in Singapore just ahead of the formal decision on new gTLDs to be announced today.

"RegistryPro maintains one of the most stable environments in the industry," said Karim Jiwani, CEO of RSC and RegistryPro. "Leading technologies deployed throughout our global data centers have made our back-end one of the most reliable in the industry. With the launch of RSC, current and new TLD operators will benefit from this remarkably robust platform."

"As a registry operator, RSC knows the launch of a successful TLD depends on seamless integration of state-of-the-art systems and commitment to industry-leading infrastructure," said Jiwani. "RSC will offer new TLD operators a secure, scalable, and cost-effective solution to the most critical aspects of their operations."

Superior performance and security are paramount to RSC, which also provides 24x7 network monitoring and biometric/electronic access control. RSC also provides multiple redundancies, global nodes and 99.9+% uptime for WHOIS and EPP.

The company's flagship website, RSC.PRO, officially launched on June 17, in advance of the 41st ICANN International Meeting in Singapore.

"RegistryPro is committed to supporting the ICANN model of Internet governance," said Lucas Roh, CEO of Hostway Corporation. "The potential that thousands of new TLDs will enter the domain name system (DNS); in the next few years marks a historic moment in the history of the Internet. RSC will be there with the advanced solutions registry operators needed to manage their space in this new domain name landscape."

Meeting attendees in Singapore who would like more information about RSC's advanced registry back-end solution can stop by booth #4 in the Raffles Ballroom Foyer.
