Citrix Case Study Features Nixu DDI

Citrix has published a case study featuring Nixu DDI run on Citrix XenServer by Unify Mobile, a Dutch Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO). Having grown its customer base at an extremely rapid pace, Unify wanted to develop a network services platform that could be scaled up quickly and allow efficient management to cope with growth. After rigorous investigations, Unify decided to implement a solution consisting of Citrix, Dell, Nixu DDI, Opsera, Openfiler and Vyatta.

Commented Jürgen Joswig, Nixu Software's EMEA Sales Director: "The Nixu DDI solution we delivered to Unify Mobile is evidence of the great traction we have been witnessing in Western Europe. We're seeing more and more service providers virtualizing their core network services."

Hanieh Taipalus, Marketing Manager at Nixu Software, added: "The Unify case is an excellent example of multi-vendor strategy recommended by Gartner. By selecting best-of-breed products for each service and application category, organizations are able to implement better solutions at lower TCO and OPEX. As Nixu DDI is based on open networking standards and relevant RFCs, it is an ideal choice for anyone looking to implement DNS, DHCP and IPAM in a multi-vendor environment.

With Citrix® and VMware® Ready certifications and support for emerging network standards such as IPv6, DNSSEC and ENUM, Nixu DDI is the ideal solution for organizations looking to ensure business continuity and maximize return on their virtualization investment. Thanks to its powerful API, it can be easily integrated with external applications and services, making Nixu the DDI provisioning platform of choice.
