MarkMonitor to Co-Chair International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition Spring Conference

MarkMonitor®, the global leader in enterprise brand protection, has announced that Frederick Felman, Chief Marketing Officer at MarkMonitor, will serve as co-chair for the International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition (IACC) 2011 Spring Conference and lead a panel discussion on the myths and realities of brand abuse on social networks with Jamie O'Donnell, founder of SEO PR. In addition, Elisa Cooper, director of product marketing at MarkMonitor, will host a discussion on the new Generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs) at the International Trademark Association (INTA) Annual Meeting. Both events will take place in San Francisco this May.

The International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition promotes laws, regulations and business directives that combat counterfeiting, piracy and other forms of intellectual property infringement. Every spring and fall, the IACC hosts a wide range of speakers, including a number of Fortune 500 brands, at their conference to address the latest trends in counterfeiting and techniques to prevent it. Recognizing the growing impact of online abuses targeting leading brands, the IACC developed the conference theme, "Exploring Global Gateways: Impact of the Internet".
