BlueCat Networks Strengthens ANZ Presence with WhiteGold Solutions Partnership

BlueCat Networks, the IPAM Intelligence™ company, today announced a partnership with WhiteGold Solutions, Australia’s pioneer in Unified Value Distribution (UVD) and an award-winning distributor for the ANZ (Australia & New Zealand) region. WhiteGold will be BlueCat Networks’ value-added distributor for the ANZ region. The partnership will strengthen BlueCat Networks’ presence in this important market, as well as help to promote BlueCat Networks’ IPv6-ready suite of IP Address Management (IPAM), DNS and DHCP solutions.

This new partnership will enable WhiteGold to provide resellers servicing new and existing large enterprise accounts, as well as those servicing small and medium enterprises (SMEs), in the ANZ region with BlueCat Networks’ IPv6 and DNSSEC-compliant range of IP Address Management, DNS and DHCP platforms as they face a new challenge of IPv4 depletion and the onset of IPv6.

IP Address Management is becoming a crucial issue for organizations, as most current networks today run on IPv4 (Internet Protocol version 4). With the final IPv4 address range allocated in the past week and IPv4 addresses likely to be fully committed by Q2 of 2011, organisations will have to adopt IPv6 for future address allocation and run a combination of IPv4 and IPv6 starting this year. BlueCat Networks offers a complete end-to-end IPAM solution for both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

“Feedback from our resellers and their customers makes it clear that it is no longer possible to manage the fast-increasing number of devices on an IPv4 network with traditional spreadsheets, and as IPv6’s longer IP addresses become the norm, it will make this necessary task even more difficult,” said Jonathan Odria, sales director, WhiteGold. “End users are demanding solutions that make it simple to deploy, manage, monitor and audit IP addresses. BlueCat Networks’ technology not only makes it easy to manage IP addresses across the entire enterprise from a single Web-based interface, but it also enables organizations to plan for and seamlessly integrate IPv6 networks,” Odria continued. “BlueCat Networks’ market-leading solutions are an ideal addition to WhiteGold’s ‘best-of-breed’ product line as they will enable us to offer solutions that completely eliminate network accessibility headaches for organisations.”

“With the number of devices connecting to networks increasing exponentially, the demand for smart, simple, scalable IP Address Management solution is also growing rapidly. WhiteGold will help us tap into the increasing demand for IPAM in ANZ,” said Dean Bell, Vice President, Middle East and Asia Pacific, BlueCat Networks. “This partnership with WhiteGold creates a solid framework as well as increased visibility for BlueCat Networks to quickly and effectively deliver value to the reseller community in ANZ and grow our existing customer base as organizations make the inevitable transition to IPv6.

BlueCat Networks’ IPAM solution integrates with Microsoft Windows DNS and DHCP to simplify network management by making it easy for administrators to fully integrate IP inventory tracking and allocation, along with DNS and DHCP management. With BlueCat Networks’ IPAM solution, organizations can centrally manage and audit IPv4, IPv6, DNS and DNSSEC networks from a single pane of glass.
