Afilias, a global provider of Internet infrastructure services and registry for the .INFO domain, today announced that is has added a new service that allows visitors to its .INFO Web site directory to rate their favorite .INFO Web sites.

The newly added ".INFO Site Rater" feature allows visitors to the directory to award a rating for each submitted site based on a scale from 1 to 5. Top rated sites will also be showcased on a special "Top 10 .INFO's” page.

"Millions of .INFO sites provide the most intuitive and direct path to information on their intended topics," said Roland LaPlante, Afilias' Chief Marketing Officer. "The .INFO directory and new .INFO Site Rater feature allows the public to show how valuable these sites are and can help point users to some of the best resources available online."

.INFO directory listings will also be aggregated through a new RSS feed publishing the most recent 10 directory entries. Fans of the .INFO domain can utilize this RSS feed to display listings of great .INFO sites on their own blog or Web site. .INFO site owners can submit their .INFO domain to the directory at http://www.info.info/node/add/spotlight.
