MarkMonitor, the global leader in enterprise brand protection, announced today the company will be offering a series of webinars focusing on trademark law and brand holder rights in the Internet age. The webinar series will feature noted trademark law authority, Anne Gilson LaLonde, to educate companies on the changing landscape of brand holder rights online.

LaLonde has written articles and spoken on a variety of trademark law issues, including cybersquatting, counterfeiting, the Madrid Protocol, non-traditional trademarks and special problems arising from fan-related content. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Law after serving as Book Review Editor of the Michigan Law Review. LaLonde practiced at Sidley & Austin in Washington, D.C. in the firm's Litigation Practice Group before her two-year judicial clerkship with Judge Norma Holloway Johnson at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
