Go Daddy Launches Instant Mobilizer from dotMobi

Go Daddy, the world's dominant Web hosting domain registrar, and dotMobi, the company behind the .mobi Internet address, today announced the availability of Instant Mobilizer at GoDaddy.com.

Instant Mobilizer is a patent-pending service designed to help small and medium sized businesses around the world reach their customers quickly and affordably through the mobile Web by seamlessly transforming existing PC-based Web sites for use on all mobile phones, on all networks. When you sign up for a .mobi domain for your business, Instant Mobilizer is provided free from Go Daddy.

"In an increasingly competitive domain industry, dotMobi is excited to work with Go Daddy to remove the barriers to mobile Web adoption by giving businesses of all sizes the tools to easily and quickly build a mobile presence," said Trey Harvin, CEO of dotMobi. "Historically, it has been difficult for small and medium sized businesses to create a mobile-friendly Web site because of the time and technical knowledge required."

Instant Mobilizer allows users to automatically convert an existing Web site into a dynamic, mobile-friendly site without any need for technical knowledge or development efforts. Since the product was launched in February 2009, hundreds of businesses have adopted Instant Mobilizer, with uniformly positive results. The availability of Instant Mobilizer from Go Daddy is expected to attract thousands more businesses onto the mobile Web.

"We live in an incredibly fast-paced society. More and more people—especially Internet-savvy Go Daddy customers—are linked to the Web through their mobile phones and with Instant Mobilizer, businesses can be sure anyone can get to their site, even on the go," said Go Daddy CEO and Founder Bob Parsons. "Our goal at Go Daddy has always been to help people get online easily and affordably. Instant Mobilizer does just that."

GoDaddy.com is a world leader for domain registration, Web hosting and SSL certificates. Go Daddy offers 40-plus products to make Web site design and eCommerce simple. The company supports its products and services with industry-best personalized 24/7 customer care.
