Jonathan Care, Director of The Security Practice has over 17 years of experience in the retail, manufacturing, telecommunications & technology industries. He was formerly principal consultant and Head of Practice at Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young, and enjoys his track record of implementing highly effective solutions to business needs. During this time he built up an extensive knowledge of mobile data solutions and network provisioning for both cellular and satellite communication environments. An expert in the areas of cryptography, risk analysis, and network & security architectures, he has also performed commercial risk prevention, telephone fraud mitigation/recovery, and IT forensics in the past. Personal skills include change management, programme & project direction, and effective communications with all levels of the organisation. He regularly contributes articles to industry journals, and is a qualified trainer & coach, working with (ISC)2 and Learning Tree International. He is also European Co-ordinator for The CryptoRights Foundation, an organisation assisting human rights organisations and journalists working in difficult areas to communicate securely.
