I’ve spent the better part of the last 21 years (since 1996) at the registry and registrar levels. During that time I co-founded two corporate domain name portfolio management start-ups and sold them both to public companies—one to a Fortune 500 company.
These days I spend most of my time as a consultant working with cross-functional virtual teams in Europe, China and the USA.
In particular, since 2012, I’ve been navigating the complexities of establishing, growing, and maintaining a bona fide business presence in China amongst an increasing regulatory atmosphere from within China itself (MIIT) and external regulators such as ICANN.
